two favorite people ... ever ;)

It's another sketch in my small sketchbook :). This would be Nina and Maya in their tent. I'll likely be working on this drawing more and more yet as the days go by.

I miss them both.
a lot.
*sniff*

portrait

... another friend, a young person in my church for whom I have a lot of respect :)

... another sketchbook sketch. It's turning into quite a little collection of faces!

Total cuteness ...

Little Maya the bee :)
... a sketch

graphite on nice smooth creamy paper.

people ...

These are two people whom I like and respect very much :)
I keep touching up this small drawing, and I'll keep replacing it as
it improves :).

It's a small, relaxed drawing ... unfinished in places; a look, I hope that welcomes you into the work.

an unfinished drawing ...

This is a friend of mine ... although I got to know her quite a bit
later (I think this her a bunch of years ago ).

I love unfinished work ... there's so much of the artist revealed in it, and
so much to be seen in the unpolished mark making process.

Sketching again :)

This is a quick sketch of my brother and his fiance.
They are getting married in September!

Drawings like these are so therapeutic for me ... especially after I've worked
on a computer all day :).

Painting in photoshop

I didn't realize just how stressed I was, until I started painting. I found this new brush in photoshop, and decided to try it ...
I guess in a way, I'm avoiding working on my film. The revisions seems endless ...
Anyways, this is a self portrait.
