Demo Reel 2009

I've put together an almost five minute demo reel.
I'll be working on finding a way to reduce the file size of this reel (and the running time as well).

This reel begins with the most recent work I've done (at March Entertainment) and ends with some flat work and my contact information.

I knew Karla from Hilcrest School .. which was years and years ago! It has been
really nice to reconnect - with her and with others.

Alright folks, here are the long awaited comic strips! WELL DONE to all of you! This kind of thing is a lot of work, and you all saw it through. I think you can be very proud of your work!

This is something of a first: Up until this point, I have kept this blog mainly as an art gallery... and something of a portfolio. Who knows, I might go back to that, but I thought I'd try something different for once.

This is me, reveling in the glorious spring sunshine of an early morning outside my place in Sudbury. I was out with my dog - before I had to head in to work for the day.

This photograph also signifies one year completed in Sudbury. I arrived in May of 2008, and it is now May of 2009. I have to say that all seasons are beautiful up here in the north ... even winter. However, it is significantly wonderful to see spring rolling in again. My favorite time of year, when everything begins to bloom again :).

And over on the right, is my dog :). He loves the sun, the grass, and the much longer walks he gets now that things are warmer!!!

I never knew this woman, but I would have liked to. I know her family, and I was honoured to be present as they celebrated her going on to be with our Lord. Over the past couple of days I learned a lot about the person she was, and I wish to remember her for myself. This drawing is, for me, a way to do that.
